Football stadiums in Italy

Stade De France (Paris)

San Siro (Milan)

Ancre 1

Story :

The San Siro stadium (or Giuseppe Meazza) was born in the district of the same name in Milan, in 1925. The president of AC Milan then had an idea: to build a stadium solely dedicated to football, without an athletics track (a first in Europe). A little over a year later, in 1926, the stadium was inaugurated with a Derby della Madonnina. The two rival clubs Inter Milan and AC Milan play their home matches in the enclosure, in a relatively calm atmosphere compared to the mythical rivalry between the two institutions. Since then, the stadium has seen many renovations, the biggest dating back to 1990, when Italy hosted the World Cup. From there, the roof is hugely laid out and all seats are seated. Despite its near demise, this stadium is legendary in many ways.
